Coming from a Chinese background, Audrey was no exception to this cultural habit of being sent to enrichment classes since young, and was promptly sent for classical ballet and piano lessons once she was of age 3, among other art forms. Audrey was always very excited when her parents dropped her off for art lessons because she had found a medium of sorts to express the crazy ideas in her young mind! Between do- it- yourself fun-filled activities with her friends, painting, clay moulding and the magic of mixing her own colours to create even more shades of colours – this was where her ideas manifested in front of her own eyes and became a reality.

After doing a 3 month long internship in 2015, Audrey have gained much- yearned exposure to the world of interior design. Being a part of the design team, she facilitated the design team in creating and decorating a residential and commercial space from scratch, transforming ideas into real plans and beautiful spaced which the client opted for. From my many observations at meetings, Audrey took the initiative to express her thoughts and ideas after a few weeks during the team meetings and was given positive assurance for her contribution. Throughout a Bungalow project located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, not only did she developed indispensable skills related to interior designing, but also found enjoyment and satisfaction in completing the various challenges and solving the brain- racking questions that indisputably will arise in the real business world. There is bound to be teamwork in order for the entire project to go smoothly, in addition to being able to work independently as well. In Audrey's opinion, a success in any career should not lie only in work skills but also is embedded in social abilities.
